Profile of Iwan Hadiantoro and Frans Kesuma, the New Duo at the Helm of United Tractors (UNTR)

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) conducted a reshuffle of its Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) 2026, on Thursday (16/4/2026). Shareholders appointed Iwan Hadiantoro as President Director, replacing Frans Kesuma, who now assumes the role of President Commissioner. This appointment signifies a new phase of leadership for UNTR, drawing on the financial and operational experience of these two key figures who have long careers within the Astra Group. Iwan Hadiantoro is an Indonesian citizen born in 1968, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Financial Management) from Universitas Indonesia. He was first appointed as a Director of the Company in April 2015 and has been reappointed in several periods, with the most recent appointment through the AGMS on 25 April 2025. In addition to his position at UNTR, Iwan holds an extensive portfolio of roles across various entities, both as President Commissioner, Commissioner, or Director. He leads several companies in the energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors, and serves as a Commissioner in several entities, including PT Acset Indonusa Tbk and PT Arkora Hydro Tbk. At GE, he held various strategic positions in finance, from controllership and treasury to financial planning and analysis, before serving as Vice President Finance, as well as Director and Chief Financial Officer of PT GE Finance Indonesia. He then joined PT Astra International Tbk in 2010 as Head of Group Treasury & Investor Relations. Additionally, he served as Finance Director at Astra Sedaya Finance from 2006 to 2008. In terms of governance, Iwan has no affiliation relationships with other Board of Directors members, the Board of Commissioners, or major and controlling shareholders.
