Profile of Felesia Rismaito Munthe, SMA Unggul Del Student Selected as National Paskibraka Candidate from North Sumatra
A proud achievement has once again been made by the best students from North Sumatra. Felesia Rismaito Munthe, a Year 10 student at SMA Unggul Del, has been officially selected as one of the National Paskibraka Candidates for 2026. This success places Felesia as the official representative of North Sumatra Province on the national stage.
Felesia is a student at SMA Unggul Del, a renowned educational institution in Toba Regency known for its discipline and academic excellence. Her selection is a source of pride not only for the school but also for the people of Toba Regency and North Sumatra as a whole.
Under Presidential Regulation No. 51 of 2022, the Paskibraka programme is more than just a flag-raising unit. It serves as a character-building initiative to instil patriotism and nationalism among the youth, with Paskibraka members tasked with hoisting and lowering the sacred flag during the national Independence Day proclamation ceremony.
To reach the national level, Felesia underwent a rigorous and multi-stage selection process, involving the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) and the National Paskibraka Ambassadors (DPPI).
The evaluation process was holistic to ensure selected candidates are fully prepared for the demanding yet honourable national duties. Having passed district and provincial levels, Felesia is now preparing for national verification and intensive training.
