Professor: Prabowo Has Comprehensive Understanding of National Issues

Professor Sri Rahayu, a Professor at the Muhammadiyah University of Palembang (UMP), believes that President Prabowo Subianto possesses a comprehensive understanding of various national issues after attending the 2026 KSTI National Seminar in Jakarta.

Sri shared this assessment after participating in the Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) 2026, themed “Strategies for Economic Independence and Indonesian Welfare,” held at the Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC), Jakarta, on Friday.

According to Sri, while listening to President Prabowo’s presentation for approximately 1.5 hours, she observed that the Head of State has mastered various fields, ranging from social and political issues to economics, history, and agriculture.

“The President’s knowledge is so vast, covering social, political, economic, and agricultural aspects; he has such mastery. For those 1.5 hours, we did not sleep for a single moment, paying serious attention to what he conveyed,” she stated in a report from the Indonesian Government Communication Agency (Bakom).

She also admitted to being impressed after reading books authored by Prabowo, which she believes contain practical solutions to several of the nation’s problems.

Furthermore, Sri noted that the most memorable message from the President’s presentation was the call to foster collective concern in advancing Indonesia.

“The true concern he taught us today is that we share a collective responsibility as Indonesians. We are Indonesians, and Indonesians must progress; we must not be left behind or oppressed. We must continue to move forward, with a shared spirit alongside the President,” said Sri.

“We, as universities and higher education institutions, are ready to accompany every one of the President’s programmes,” she added.
