The fact that Susilo has been directly elected the sixth
president of the country is indicative of the great hope that
Indonesians have in the new administration. At this juncture, it
would be wise for Indonesians to bear in mind that the country is
facing extraordinarily serious problems that may not be solved in
a short time.

However, it is the hope of the entire people that the new
administration under Susilo and Kalla can show its mettle in
fighting corruption and stimulating the country's economy. This
new administration must also ensure that the law is firmly and
justly enforced.

The Cabinet positions must go to really qualified people to
ensure that the country's development will continue and also that
the protracted ongoing multidimensional crisis can be brought to
an end.
