Productive Ramadan: PT Ameya Livingstyle Indonesia Exports 695 Cartons of Clothing to Germany
Industrial activity has remained productive during the holy month of Ramadan, as evidenced by PT Ameya Livingstyle Indonesia’s export of 695 cartons of Tom Tailor branded clothing products from Yogyakarta to the German market on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.
The clothing products were prepared to meet international market demand, particularly in Germany. The export activity generated foreign exchange worth $224,660.50, equivalent to approximately Rp3 billion.
Imam Sarjono, Head of the Yogyakarta Customs Office, stated that his office remains committed to providing excellent service whilst conducting optimal oversight of export and import activities.
“We are committed to providing fast and accurate service and ensuring that the oversight process runs in accordance with regulations, so that export activities can proceed smoothly and contribute positively to the national economy,” he said in a statement on Thursday (12 March 2026).
He expressed the view that the Ramadan period is expected to serve as an inspiration for business operators to continue increasing productivity and expanding export markets, so that Indonesian products become increasingly recognised and desired in the international arena.
With support from optimal service provision by the Customs Office, it is hoped that more business operators will be encouraged to conduct exports, whilst simultaneously strengthening Indonesia’s position in global trade.
