Product and technology support behind Motul's positive results at IIMS
Jakarta (ANTARA) - French lubricant manufacturer Motul has claimed it received a positive reception during the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026, held from 5-15 February at JIexpo, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
The positive response from automotive enthusiasts, as stated in a press release received in Jakarta on Monday, was attributed to the company’s commitment to continually delivering innovation and technology in its latest lubricants, which have attained API SQ certification.
Managing Director of PT Motul Indonesia Energy (MIE), Welmart Purba, said the Motul lubricant specifications are designed to provide more optimal engine protection, maximum performance, and improved fuel efficiency for modern vehicles.
“This latest automotive lubricant represents Motul Indonesia’s commitment to delivering lubrication technology innovation for the newest generation of increasingly sophisticated vehicles that demand high performance,” said Welmart Purba.
Welmart added that API SQ certification addresses these requirements without compromising the performance DNA that has always been Motul’s strength.
The lubricants receiving upgrades include the Multigrade Plus, Multipower Plus, H-Tech 100 Plus, NGEN Hybrid, and Motul 300V. All variants are available in a comprehensive range of viscosities and are designed to be compatible with the latest generation of engine technology.
“Motul Indonesia’s participation in IIMS 2026 affirms the company’s commitment to supporting the development of the national automotive industry through product innovation, consumer education, and a memorable brand experience,” Welmart added.
