Prodia Subsidiary Eyes IPO, Offers Shares at Rp100-Rp120
Jakarta — PT Prodia Diagnostic Line Tbk (PRDL), a subsidiary of the Prodia group engaged in the production of diagnostic medical devices, is preparing to list on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) through an initial public offering (IPO). The company is offering up to 522.9 million new shares, representing 30% of its issued and fully paid-up capital post-IPO.
In its preliminary prospectus published on 18 June 2026, PRDL set an offering price range of Rp100 to Rp120 per share. Consequently, the company could raise fresh funds of up to Rp62.75 billion from this corporate action.
Alongside the IPO, PRDL is also conducting an Employee Stock Allocation (ESA) programme with a maximum allocation of 36.6 million shares, equivalent to 7% of the shares offered to the public.
The bookbuilding period runs from 18 to 23 June 2026. The company is targeting an effective statement from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on 29 June 2026, followed by the public offering period from 1 to 7 July 2026. The shares are scheduled to be listed on the BEI on 9 July 2026.
PRDL is a company engaged in the manufacture and processing of medical devices related to medical diagnostics, or in vitro diagnostics (IVD). The company has a production facility in the Jababeka III Industrial Estate, Cikarang, West Java.
PRDL’s current shareholder structure consists of PT Prodia Utama with 51%, PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (PRDA) with 39%, and Diasys Diagnostic Systems GmbH with 10%. After the IPO, the ownership of these existing shareholders will be diluted as public investors come in.
Management views the prospects for the diagnostic industry in Indonesia as very substantial, driven by an increase in government health spending to Rp244 trillion in 2026, up from Rp218.5 trillion in 2025. Additionally, the government’s free health check-up programme is expected to boost demand for diagnostic products across various healthcare facilities.
As of the end of 2025, PRDL had served more than 7,600 end users, including community health centres, hospitals, and clinical laboratories throughout Indonesia. The company also sees significant room for expansion, as more than 47% of healthcare facilities in Indonesia are not yet its customers.
In its prospectus, PRDL disclosed that the main risk faced by the company is its dependence on government spending in the health sector. From an investment perspective, one risk investors should note is the potential for low share liquidity after listing on the exchange.
