Private residential prices in Singapore rise by 1.4 per cent in Q3 2026
Singapore (ANTARA) - The overall private residential property price index in Singapore rose by 1.4 per cent quarter-on-quarter in the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, an increase from the 0.5 per cent rise recorded in the second quarter (Q2), according to preliminary estimates released by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) on Thursday (1/10).
In the first three quarters of 2026, the index increased by an average of 0.9 per cent per quarter, a figure unchanged from the average quarterly increase during the same period in 2025, the URA stated in a release.
To meet housing demand and maintain market stability, the government is maintaining a high level of private housing supply through the Government Land Sales Programme.
A total of 4,745 private residential units will be launched through the Confirmed List in the second half (H2) of 2026, bringing the total supply in the Confirmed List for the year to 9,320 units. This is more than 50 per cent above the annual average of the last ten years, according to the URA.
This will bring the total supply of private residential units expected to be completed in the coming years to approximately 60,600 units.
