Private companies as debtors
Private companies as debtors
From Kompas
I am a layman when it comes to economic matters but I feel attracted to the analysis presented by economic expert and observer Kwik Kian Gie, published by Kompas on Jan. 19. In particular, regarding the country's debts, to the tune of US$65 billion, incurred by the private sector.
Which private companies are in debt? What is the amount of each company's debt?
From which world institutions did the national private companies get their loans, and for what business purpose? To what extent are these debts a burden on the current economy? Will these debts become, directly or indirectly, the burden of the people?
I am addressing my questions to Kwik Kian Gie. I look forward to reading his analysis in one of his future articles, giving emphasis to matters that are essential to the community.
