Prioritising Transparency, DT Peduli Reports ZISWAF Fund Distribution
The National Amil Zakat Institution (LAZNAS) DT Peduli has reported the distribution of public funds through the Public Expose 2026 agenda at the Daarul Hajj Hall in Bandung. The event informed the public about the detailed use of ZISWAF funds.
The performance report prioritised transparency of cash allocation data in detail according to the institution’s standard operating procedures. The agenda presented programme results across several main sectors, focusing on education and the development of citizens’ economic capacity. Additionally, the organisers separately reported the track record of humanitarian aid distribution.
The presentation of operational field data was carried out to demonstrate the alignment between the amount of funds collected and the target beneficiaries. This factual presentation of information serves as a benchmark for measuring operational success over the past year.
DT Peduli’s President Director, Jajang Nurjaman, emphasised that transparency is an absolute requirement. This must be applied to minimise the potential for budget misuse. “The presentation of this data aims to allow the public to directly review the results of the allocation of funds entrusted to the institution,” he explained.
In addition to releasing the annual report, the institution inaugurated the digital platform sedekah.id, which was launched alongside a aid programme for Palestine. This digitalisation step was taken to align the internal administrative system with the demands of the times, while automatically recording all fund collection transactions.
Regarding the launch of the new platform, the Chair of the Public Expose 2026, Kevin Adhytama, confirmed its operational function. The digital platform was created specifically to streamline all procedures for collecting donation assets. “We provide the sedekah.id system to give the public online access so that it is easy to give charity. But more importantly, so that the fund distribution process is centrally recorded,” he added.
The reporting event was directly supervised by national-level stakeholders as a form of quality control. Representatives from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and delegates from the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) attended to review the substance of the report in detail from the beginning to the end of the event.
Members of the Zakat Forum (FOZ) along with public figure Dennis Lim also participated in the evaluation series. The involvement of external parties plays a vital role as a means of objective oversight of the institution’s operational credibility.
On the same occasion, the committee presented certificates of appreciation to a number of corporate institutions. These documents were handed over to companies recorded as regularly channelling their social responsibility funds through the organiser over the past year. The presentation of these certificates is a standard administrative procedure to maintain inter-institutional cooperation relationships.
The periodic presentation of financial reports is a fundamental obligation of distributing institutions. The public has the right to examine the details of their fund flows.
Jajang closed the agenda by affirming the institution’s commitment to state regulatory guidelines. “All public funds distributed are in accordance with administrative rules and ready to be audited at any time,” he concluded.
