BANDAR LAMPUNG, Lampung: An elementary school principal,
suspected of committing adultery with a neighboring housewife,
has been given an indefinite time-out.

Head of the Ministry of Education's North Lampung office,
Sudirman Subing, alleges the man, identified only as AS, was
recently caught in the act with Mrs. Oh, wife of an inter-city
bus driver.

"We're not playing games here, we're not going to cover up
anything, if he's acted immorally, we'll take action against
him," Sudirman said.

Sudirman also said he has proposed to the governor that AS be
dismissed. Sudirman did not disclose the name of the school for
ethical reasons, the Antara news agency reported yesterday.

According to Antara, it was the bus driver who caught AS with
his wife and reported them to the police. (swe)
