Primary School Girl in Sragen Found Dead with Severe Chopping Wounds, Police Investigate
Police are currently conducting a crime scene investigation at the victim’s residence, with local residents observing from behind the police line. Catur Agus Yudo Praseno, Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit at the Sragen Police, stated that violence was clearly involved in the loss of life. "What is clear, we have found evidence of suspected violence that led to the victim’s death. However, the motive for this incident will be the subject of our deeper investigation," he said.
Aris Sudaryanto, the Head of Dawung Village, confirmed the incident as a suspected case of severe assault. A motorcycle belonging to the victim’s parents was also reported missing from the location. Aris recounted that the victim’s body was first discovered by her mother, Dewi, after she returned from work at a cigarette factory around 4 p.m. Western Indonesia Time. Upon arrival, the house was already crowded. She rushed inside to find the victim lifeless with severe injuries across her body.
"The condition of the remains had many chop wounds, on the hands and face. The face was even unrecognisable. There were many footprints on the floor, and the blood had already dried. Because of this, I immediately instructed all residents to exit the house and prohibited anyone from taking photographs," he explained.
