Primary and Junior Secondary School TKA Results Released Today, Certificates Available from 1pm
The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) has announced the results of the Academic Ability Test (TKA) for primary and junior secondary schools simultaneously on Tuesday, May 26 at 13:00 WIB. The results can be accessed by educational institutions via the government’s official website.
Head of the Basic and Secondary Education Policy Agency of Kemendikdasmen, Toni Toharudin, stated that the TKA system is directly connected to various regional government systems, enabling immediate use of the results, particularly for the merit-based New Student Selection System (SPMB) registration.
“Inter-system connectivity to distribute TKA results to regions requiring them, especially in relation to SPMB, has been successfully implemented according to each region’s SPMB schedule,” said Toni at the Kemendikdasmen office on Tuesday (26/5).
However, students do not receive the TKA results directly; instead, schools first receive them in the form of a Collective Results List.
Schools then request students to verify their personal details, such as full name and date of birth, listed in the document.
Once verification is complete and a mandatory liability statement is signed, each participant’s TKA Result Certificate will be automatically available for download, printing, and distribution.
Schools can access the TKA results by visiting tka.kemendikdasmen.go.id/hasiltka or rumah.pendidikan.go.id, entering the TKA participant number and certificate ID code.
For reference, the TKA scores for primary and junior secondary schools range from 0 to 100, unlike senior high school (SMA) and vocational school (SMK) levels, which use a scale of 200 to 800.
The results are categorised into three tiers: Good, Satisfactory, and Poor. Primary and junior secondary students scoring at least 95 receive an Outstanding rating, while senior high school and vocational school students need a minimum of 725 for the same distinction.
The April-held TKA for primary and junior secondary schools tested students’ abilities in Indonesian and Mathematics, with exam durations ranging from 75 to 150 minutes. The results will be used to validate school reports, as a basis for merit-based selection in the 2026 New Student Selection System (SPMB), and for independent academic achievement evaluation. (H-4)
Deputy Chairman of Commission X of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Lalu Hadrian Irfani, stated that the 2025 Academic Ability Test (TKA) results could serve as a comprehensive evaluation tool for national education quality, describing the findings as a ‘wake-up call’.
