Prices of Staples in Jabodetabek Today: Here is the Full List

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Prices of basic commodities in the Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi region on Friday 22 May 2026 were observed moving variably. Several key commodities such as shallots, chilli peppers and cooking oil continued to drive price fluctuations. Data compiled by Kompas.com from various local official sources indicate that price movements occurred amid household demand that remained relatively stable in terms of daily consumption. The situation varied across each part of Jabodetabek, depending on market characteristics and supply in each area. In Tangerang, staple prices at Pasar Anyar remained relatively unchanged through the fourth week of May 2026.
