Jakarta, VIVA – The National Food Agency (Bapanas) has reported that the price of premium rice stood at Rp 15,475 per kilogramme, down Rp 71/kg, whilst medium-grade rice was recorded at Rp 13,254/kg, a decline of Rp 122/kg.

Government-subsidised rice (SPHP) was priced at Rp 12,413/kg, down Rp 10/kg, while local speciality rice rose slightly to Rp 15,837/kg, up Rp 38 from the previous day.

Maize at the farm-gate level was recorded at Rp 6,617/kg, down Rp 210 from the previous day, and imported dried soybeans fell to Rp 10,748/kg, a decrease of Rp 156.

Shallots dropped to Rp 40,208/kg, down Rp 1,871, and garlic bulbs fell to Rp 37,872/kg, down Rp 1,037 from the previous day.

Curly red chillies were priced at Rp 44,156/kg, down Rp 3,072; large red chillies at Rp 40,871/kg, down Rp 3,262; and bird’s eye chillies at Rp 76,346/kg, down Rp 2,748 from the previous day.

Pure beef was recorded at Rp 138,716/kg, down Rp 95; broiler chicken at Rp 40,394/kg, down Rp 751; and broiler eggs at Rp 30,878/kg, down Rp 155 from the previous day.

Consumer sugar stood at Rp 18,117/kg, down Rp 43, and consumer salt at Rp 11,398/kg, down Rp 85 from the previous day.

Packaged cooking oil was priced at Rp 20,830 per litre, down Rp 252; bulk cooking oil at Rp 17,669/litre, down Rp 79; and the government-branded Minyakita at Rp 16,850/litre, also down Rp 79 from the previous day.

Bulk wheat flour fell to Rp 9,541/kg, down Rp 101, and packaged wheat flour to Rp 12,717/kg, down Rp 150 from the previous day.

Indian mackerel rose to Rp 46,609/kg, up Rp 680 from the previous day; skipjack tuna fell to Rp 37,634/kg, down Rp 197; and milkfish edged up to Rp 37,474/kg, an increase of Rp 92 from the previous day.
