Prices of Red Bird’s-Eye Chilli, Red Onions, and Chicken Meat Fall: See the Full List
Bank Indonesia (BI), through the National Center for Information on Strategic Food Prices (PIHPS), reports that the price of red bird’s-eye chilli is Rp 77,150 per kilogram, down Rp 1,500 per kilogram, and the price of red onions is Rp 43,150 per kilogram, down Rp 1,750. Data from PIHPS also records garlic at Rp 39,850 per kilogram, down Rp 950 per kilogram. In addition, the price of lower-quality rice is Rp 14,450 per kilogram for both lower quality I and II; medium-quality I Rp 15,900 per kilogram, and medium-quality II Rp 15,800 per kilogram. Next, price for large red chillies is Rp 43,350 per kilogram, red crinkled chillies Rp 44,650 per kilogram, and green bird’s-eye chillies Rp 52,150 per kilogram. Then, chicken meat (broiler) is Rp 41,350 per kilogram, down Rp 800 per kilogram; beef quality I Rp 144,450 per kilogram, and beef quality II Rp 136,450 per kilogram. The next prices include premium sugar Rp 19,850 per kilogram, local sugar Rp 18,550 per kilogram. Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil is Rp 19,050 per litre; branded packaged cooking oil I is Rp 22,650 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil II is Rp 21,650 per litre. PIHPS also notes the price of broiler eggs Rp 32,650 per kilogram.
