Prices of Red Bird's Eye Chili, Beef, and Cooking Oil Rise; See Full List

Jakarta – Bank Indonesia (BI), through the National Centre for Information on Strategic Food Prices (PIHPS Nasional), reported that the price of red chilli peppers (cabai rawit merah) is Rp 82,300 per kilogram, up Rp 6,750. Data from BI’s PIHPS on Thursday morning also recorded the price of beef, quality I, at Rp 144,000 per kilogram, up Rp 100 per kilogram, and the price of loose cooking oil at Rp 19,050 per litre, up Rp 50 per litre. Meanwhile, the price of red onions Rp 43,450 per kilogram and garlic Rp 39,350 per kilogram. In addition, prices for rice of quality lower I are Rp 14,300 per kilogram, lower II Rp 14,500 per kilogram, medium I Rp 15,600 per kilogram, and medium II Rp 15,650 per kilogram. Then, prices for rice quality super I are Rp 16,700 per kilogram, and super II Rp 16,450 per kilogram. Next, PIHPS also notes the prices of large red chillies at Rp 38,800 per kilogram, curly red chillies at Rp 40,300 per kilogram, and green red chillies at Rp 48,600 per kilogram. Then, the price of broiler chicken meat at Rp 40,350 per kilogram, and beef quality II at Rp 137,800 per kilogram. The next commodity prices are premium quality refined sugar at Rp 19,850 per kilogram, and local refined sugar at Rp 18,550 per kilogram. Meanwhile, branded packaged cooking oil I at Rp 22,550 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil II at Rp 22,100 per litre. The price of hen’s eggs recorded at Rp 32,600 per kilogram.
