The prices of several non-subsidised Pertamina fuel oil (BBM) products have skyrocketed. In particular, Pertamina Dex and Dexlite have seen price increases of up to Rp 9,400 per litre. The price hikes take effect today, Saturday (18 April 2026).

According to the mypertamina.id website, the increases apply only to Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex fuels. Meanwhile, other non-subsidised BBM types, namely Pertamax and Pertamax Green, have not experienced any price changes.

For example, in the Jakarta region, Pertamax Turbo is now priced at Rp 19,400 per litre. This figure marks an increase of Rp 6,300 per litre from the previous Rp 13,100 per litre at the beginning of April 2026.

Dexlite is now sold for Rp 23,600 per litre, surging by Rp 9,400 per litre from the previous Rp 14,200 per litre. Similarly, Pertamina Dex now costs Rp 23,900 per litre, up Rp 9,400 per litre from the previous Rp 14,500 per litre.

Meanwhile, Pertamax remains on sale at Rp 12,300 per litre for purchases at petrol stations, and Rp 12,200 per litre at Pertashops. Pertamax Green 95 also stays at Rp 12,900 per litre.

Beyond that, subsidised BBM prices such as Pertalite have not changed, remaining at Rp 10,000 per litre. The subsidised Biosolar product also stays at Rp 6,800 per litre.

For information, the government previously assured that Pertamina BBM prices in April would not rise despite high global oil prices. This statement was made by State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi.

“We would like to convey that after coordination in this regard between the government, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Pertamina, and following instructions from the President.
