Jakarta — OPPO has announced that it will increase prices on several of its smartphone products from 16 March 2026 due to rising memory component costs. According to Gizmochina, the price adjustment will be implemented after the company conducted an evaluation of the increased costs of major smartphone production components, including high-speed storage devices.

The price increase will initially apply only to certain models. OPPO stated that the OPPO A Series and OPPO K Series will undergo price adjustments. The company’s smartphone sub-brand, OnePlus, is also included in the list of affected products.

The company said this step is necessary to maintain product quality and user experience amid rising supply costs. Memory components represent one of the most expensive parts in modern smartphone manufacturing, and their prices fluctuate depending on global demand and supply conditions.

In several countries, price adjustments have already become apparent. Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has increased the price of the Redmi Turbo 5 by 100 yuan or approximately 240,000 rupiah in China, whilst Samsung has reportedly raised prices on its Galaxy series smartphones in India.
