Previously Reported Missing, Jogja Girl Elisa Has Been Found

Elisa, a young woman from Umbulharjo in the city of Jogja who was reported missing some time ago, has been found.

This was confirmed by the Head of the Public Information Sub-Division (Kasubbid Penmas) of the Public Relations Division of the DIY Regional Police, AKBP Verena Sri Wahyuningsih, who verified that Elisa had been located.

However, Verena said she had not yet received detailed information regarding the time and place where Elisa was found.

“It is true, she has been found. As for the other questions (when and where), there is no information yet,” Verena said when contacted by detikJogja via text message on Monday (7/9/2026).

Earlier, news of Elisa’s disappearance was released under reference number L/GANGGUAN/B/14/IX/2026/SPKT/POLDA D.I. YOGYAKARTA, dated 1 September 2026.

According to a post by the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Regional Police on Instagram @poldajogja, Elisa is a resident of the city of Jogja.

Based on the chronology seen by detikJogja in the DIY Regional Police post, the 21-year-old woman left home on Tuesday (1/9) at 05.30 WIB. The student was said to have left without her mother’s knowledge.

“At the time she last left the house, the victim was wearing pink pyjamas, a brown jacket and blue jeans,” read the DIY Regional Police post as quoted by detikJogja on Wednesday (2/9).
