Public awareness of the importance of maintaining health before illness strikes continues to grow. Beyond adopting a healthy lifestyle, preventive health services such as vaccination and laboratory tests are increasingly seen as long-term investments to preserve quality of life while reducing the risk of future disease. However, the cost of health services remains a consideration for some people, prompting the emergence of various financing schemes that offer flexible payment options to make preventive care more accessible. One such effort to broaden access is being undertaken by PT Indodana Multi Finance through a special financing programme using Indodana PayLater for laboratory tests and vaccinations within the Kimia Farma Laboratorium & Klinik network. Indodana Finance Director Iwan Dewanto stated that vaccination is a form of health investment with long-term benefits and therefore needs to be supported by practical and flexible financing access. “We believe that preventive measures such as vaccination are the most valuable long-term investment for people’s quality of life. Through this special offer programme with Kimia Farma Laboratorium & Klinik, we are providing a flexible and practical financing solution so that users do not have to postpone essential health protection for themselves and their families,” Iwan said in a written statement on Wednesday. The collaboration between Indodana Finance and PT Kimia Farma Diagnostika is expected to expand public access to preventive health services through more flexible payment options at more than 450 Kimia Farma Laboratorium & Klinik outlets across Indonesia. President Director of PT Kimia Farma Diagnostika, Arie Genipa Suhendi, welcomed the collaboration, stating that easier payment options can help people obtain vaccination and health check services without delaying their health protection needs. The programme, running from 30 June to 31 December 2026, allows Indodana PayLater users to access various offers for laboratory tests and vaccinations at Kimia Farma Laboratorium & Klinik, including discounts of up to 50 per cent, 0 per cent instalments, and one free instalment, subject to terms and conditions. The programme also covers financing for several premium vaccinations, such as the 9-strain Human Papilloma Virus vaccine to help prevent cervical cancer, the Herpes Zoster vaccine, the Dengue Fever vaccine, and Pneumonia vaccines. The collaboration is expected to encourage wider use of preventive health services, enabling the public to maintain their own and their families’ health sustainably.
