Press Conference on Raid Involving Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes Delayed Over Four Hours
A press conference detailing the results of raids conducted by a joint investigative team from the Metro Jaya Police and the National Police Headquarters has been delayed by more than four hours. The press conference was originally scheduled for 16:30 local time but had not commenced by 20:56. Journalists had gathered at the Promoter Hall of the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters since Friday afternoon (10/7/2026), following an invitation from the Public Relations division to arrive 30 minutes before the event was due to start. Police only began displaying the evidence at around 19:00, which included stacks of cash, gold bars, computers, and various documents. The raids were carried out as part of an investigation into alleged corruption and money laundering. A total of 13 locations were searched, including the residence of Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah, in Sentul, Bogor.
