President's Speech Contains Facts, Not Apologies

As Indonesian citizens long accustomed to living in an environment of complex illusions and vague hopes, where every moment brings gusts of false promises, these winds often lull inhabitants into complacency until sudden jolts of awareness jolt them awake.

This awakening came upon witnessing President Prabowo’s bold and decisive live speech at the DPR RI’s Nusantara Hall, clearly articulating the harsh realities of the nation he leads. Despite tales of prosperity, objective reality reveals widespread losses and damage across sectors, making his task of recovery and progress formidable.

This awareness is not passive; it drives concrete, transparent, and professional actions grounded in social justice. For the first time in Indonesia’s history, a President has directly addressed the Macroeconomic Framework (KEM) and Fiscal Policy Guidelines (PPKF) for the 2027 State Budget in a parliamentary session, a duty previously reserved for the Finance Minister. Additionally, this marks the first instance where the President explicitly explained the philosophical meaning and implementation of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution during a session broadcast live across mainstream media.
