Bogor Police have begun realising President Prabowo Subianto’s ASRI (Aman, Sehat, Rapi, Indah — Safe, Healthy, Neat, Beautiful) Housing Programme across Bogor Regency. The initiative represents a tangible commitment by the Indonesian National Police to support the President’s vision of providing adequate housing for disadvantaged communities.

A total of 13 substandard dwellings (Rumah Tidak Layak Huni) are targeted for renovation by Bogor Police. Of these, three homes have been completed and symbolically handed over to residents.

“Today we are symbolically handing over homes to three beneficiaries of the ASRI Housing Programme. Of the 13 substandard homes we are renovating, we have now completed three and they are ready for occupation,” stated Bogor Police Chief AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto during a statement to journalists on Tuesday, 17 March 2026.

Key handovers were conducted by AKBP Wikha alongside the Chairwoman of the Bogor Branch of Bhayangkari (the police welfare organisation) Ny Agia Wikha at three locations: Cibonan Village in Sukaraja, Sukahati Village in Citeureup, and Sentul Village in Babakan Madang. At each site, the delegation was warmly welcomed by local officials.

Beyond handing over renovated homes, the Police Chief also distributed cash assistance and gifts to the homeowners. Joy was evident among the beneficiary residents, who expressed profound gratitude that their home renovations were completed on schedule ahead of the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri celebration.

AKBP Wikha affirmed his commitment to overseeing the completion of the remaining units on time. “We are directly overseeing this to ensure the benefits are truly felt by the community,” he said.

Previously, Bogor Police also monitored construction progress in other areas, including Pabuaran Village in Kemang District. This proactive approach received positive feedback from local village authorities.

Pabuaran Village Head Ayoh Yohana expressed deep appreciation for the substantial attention Bogor Police had given to residents in need. “We are grateful for the dedication of the Bogor Police Chief, who has directly assisted our community’s needs through this substandard housing renovation programme,” Ayoh Yohana stated.

The ASRI Housing Programme is intended to establish a new standard for healthy housing across Bogor Regency. Through coordination between the President’s directive, the West Java Police Commander’s guidance, and implementation by Bogor Police, the Indonesian National Police remain committed to providing solutions to community hardship.
