‘I will oversee and control these programmes. My main duties include monitoring and ensuring the President’s priority programmes are executed swiftly and accurately,’ Dudung stated in Jakarta on Friday.

Lastly, building from the village level and grassroots to achieve economic equality and eradicate poverty.

To realise this vision, Dudung said his office will conduct strict on-the-ground monitoring.

He noted foreign investors are interested in Indonesia, but execution speed remains a key challenge.

‘Field obstacles and speed factors include lengthy inter-agency coordination processes, inconsistent central and regional policies, differing interpretations of regulations on the ground, and uncertain timelines for resolving basic investment permits,’ Dudung explained.

In response to the report, the Presidential Staff Chief stated they would promptly map issues in national priority industrial zones and Special Economic Zones classified as national strategic projects.
