Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Presidential Staff Office (KSP) has conducted 81 field verification activities to oversee national priority programmes from the beginning of 2026, specifically during the period from 6 January to 29 May 2026.

Chief of Staff Dudung Abdurachman stated that the KSP continues to strengthen its role in guarding the implementation of national priority programmes, managing strategic issues, facilitating coordination across ministries and agencies, and providing strategic recommendations to the President.

“In the new KSP period, all deputy offices are actively conducting verifications,” said Dudung during a working meeting with Commission XIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) at the parliamentary complex, Jakarta, on Wednesday.

He explained that there are 1s priority national programmes under the KSP’s supervisory focus, including programmes for food, energy, and water self-sufficiency; the refinement of the state revenue system; political, legal, and bureaucratic reform; and the prevention and eradication of corruption and poverty.

Other focus areas include the prevention and eradication of drugs; the improvement of BPJS Kesehatan (national health insurance) and the provision of medicine for the people; the strengthening of education, science, technology, and digitalisation; and the reinforcement of national defence and security. Furthermore, the KSP is monitoring programmes for gender equality and the protection of rights for women, children, and persons with disabilities; environmental conservation; the direct supply of fertiliser, seeds, and pesticides to farmers; the construction of affordable, high-quality housing with proper sanitation; economic equality and the strengthening of MSMEs; downstreaming and industrialisation based on natural resources; interfaith harmony; and the preservation of arts and culture, the enhancement of the creative economy, and the improvement of sporting achievements.

In addition to field supervision, he noted that the KSP has prepared 56 programme monitoring reports and daily issue reports, as well as 15 daily reports from the Chief of Staff to the President, effective from 28 April 2026.

He also stated that the KSP facilitates the alignment of cross-sectoral policies to ensure that the implementation of national priority programmes proceeds in an integrated manner, without overlap, and remains aligned with national development priorities and the President’s directives.
