Presidential Palace Open House: Prabowo Greets Thousands of Citizens on Victory Day

The atmosphere was filled with emotion and high enthusiasm at the open house event at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Saturday (21/3/2026). President Prabowo Subianto, accompanied by his son Didit Hediprasetyo, mingled with the crowd by greeting, shaking hands with, and embracing thousands of citizens who came to exchange greetings in celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.

President Prabowo Subianto greeted, shook hands with, and embraced the attendees at the Lebaran open house. The President arrived around 3:00 PM WIB dressed in a white koko shirt, black trousers, and a black peci. His presence was warmly welcomed by the citizens, accompanied by his son Didit Hediprasetyo, who wore a blue koko shirt and a black peci.

Upon entering the event room, Prabowo immediately shook hands with the people and extended Eid al-Fitr greetings. This moment of exchange was deeply touching for the citizens, with some even appearing tearful and attempting to hug the President.

The President was also accompanied by the State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya during the event, which ran from afternoon to evening and was attended by between 4,000 and 5,000 people.

To accommodate visitors, the organising committee prepared additional tents in the outer area of the Palace if the indoor capacity was full. Various traditional Lebaran dishes, including ketupat, were provided, along with simple entertainment for children who came with their families.

The opening of the Palace to the public on this Lebaran occasion follows the same pattern as in previous years, providing citizens with the opportunity to visit and exchange greetings in the Presidential Palace environment.
