The Eid open house at the Presidential Palace was opened this afternoon. Citizens appeared enthusiastic about visiting the palace grounds while enjoying the various dishes provided.

Observations by detikcom on Saturday (21/3/2026) showed that the open house event began at 12.30 WIB. Attendees were managed to enter in turns to maintain order.

Visitors were directed to enter through Wisma Negara towards the central courtyard of the palace, the main location for food service. Citizens were seen to follow the instructions of the officers orderly when entering the area.

In the prepared tents, a variety of typical Eid dishes were available, such as lontong, sate, and rendang. In addition, various other foods were offered, including rice with side dishes, siomay, bakso, and mi ayam.

Not only heavy meals, but various snacks and drinks were also served to the visitors. Citizens appeared enthusiastic about queuing to select and taste the available dishes.

In addition, children who attended also received toy distributions. The open house atmosphere felt even warmer and more solemn with the strains of selawat songs accompanying the event.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the griya open house at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta was held today starting from 12.00 WIB. Teddy mentioned that the open house capacity was up to 5,000 people.

“We opened (the open house) after Zuhr prayer. Maybe at 12, 1 o’clock, please come. (Capacity) yes, about 5 thousand like last year. Of course, we prepared inside, if it doesn’t fit, outside has also been prepared by the Minister Secretary of State, tents, then they enter in turns,” said Teddy during a visit in Medan, North Sumatra, on Friday night (20/3/2026).

Teddy said the open house was open from afternoon until evening. He invited the public to attend the open house at the palace with their families.

“Of course, it’s open from 12 maybe until Maghrib, in turns, the public perhaps with their families all around Eid al-Fitr, want to bring one family, stop by the palace, you’re welcome,” he continued.
