Presidential Decree Rotates Senior Attorney General's Office Officials: Deputy Attorney General to Jampidsus
President Prabowo Subianto has issued a Presidential Decree appointing five new officials within the Attorney General’s Office. Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi stated that Prabowo signed the decree on Tuesday (21/7). “We can inform you that yesterday the President signed the decree in accordance with the TPA results, referring to the proposal letter from the Attorney General, which we followed up administratively today,” Pras said at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday (22/7). The decree appoints Asep Nana Mulyana as Deputy Attorney General. Nana previously served as Junior Attorney General for General Crimes and as Acting Deputy Attorney General. The decree also appoints Kuntadi as Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes. Kuntadi, who was Head of the Asset Recovery Agency, will replace Febrie Ardiansyah, who is now a suspect in a corruption case. Under the same decree, the position left by Kuntadi will be filled by Patris Yusrian Jaya, who was Head of the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office. Changes also occurred within the General Crimes division, with Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak, Head of the Attorney General’s Education and Training Agency, now serving as Junior Attorney General for General Crimes. Finally, Leonard’s former position will be filled by Harli Siregar, Inspector III at the Junior Attorney General for Supervision.
