Presidential Chief of Staff Appreciates Bali Police's Public Service Performance
The public service performance of the Bali Regional Police (Polda Bali) has received appreciation from the Presidential Chief of Staff, General (Ret.) Dudung Abdurachman. The appreciation was conveyed during a working visit by a team from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) to the Bali Police Headquarters. The working visit by the PAN-RB team was conducted in the context of strengthening and improving the quality of public services within the Indonesian National Police (Polri), particularly in Polda Bali. The delegation was led by General Dudung and accompanied by Deputy Minister Commissioner General Purwadi Arianto and Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Syafrida Rachmawati Rasahan. They were welcomed by Bali Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya and Deputy Bali Police Chief Brigadier General I Made Astawa at the Bali Police Headquarters on Wednesday (8/7/2026). ‘I greatly appreciate the breakthroughs made by Polda Bali in maintaining security that is integrated in the Command Center. The rapid response to 110 calls and the barcode patrol are also service innovations that deserve appreciation,’ Dudung stated in a written release from Polda Bali on Wednesday. ‘Going forward, I hope this continues and is even improved, so that the public trust index towards Polda Bali can increase further,’ he added. During the visit, the team directly observed the service procedures at the Bali Police Integrated Police Service Centre (SPKT). The team also directly asked the public about the service for issuing Police Record Certificates (SKCK). The PAN-RB Ministry team was quite surprised because the issuance of an SKCK at Polda Bali could be processed in less than three minutes. In addition, the team reviewed the integrated security system that can be monitored in the Polda Bali Command Center room. Through this system, the public can report any criminal acts or request security assistance quickly and responsively via the toll-free 110 call service. Dudung assessed that Polda Bali’s responsive and fast public service has met the criteria of the Public Service Performance Monitoring and Evaluation instrument (PEKPPP) as stipulated in the Minister of PAN-RB Regulation Number 29 of 2022. ‘The public processing SKCK at Polda Bali is very fast, completed in less than three minutes. This shows that the level of public satisfaction has been met. In fact, the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) survey score for services like SKCK reached 93.46, which is in the very good category,’ he added. Deputy Minister Commissioner General Purwadi Arianto also appreciated the integrated security system in the Polda Bali Command Center, as vulnerable areas in Bali can be monitored directly on the centralised screen. In addition, Purwadi gave high marks for the barcode patrol and the rapid response of operators in handling complaints and reports via the toll-free 110 service. Polda Bali itself stated its commitment to continuously improve and develop public services in a sustainable manner. This is in line with the spirit of Polri Presisi, which prioritises predictive, responsible, transparent, and fair services oriented towards public satisfaction.
