Presidential appeal

With due respect to all the presidential candidates, I would
like to make it clear to the People's Consultative Assembly that
the next president of Indonesia should be the best citizen who is
physically and mentally healthy. A president should serve as a
reflection of the nation -- a figure who will stand out both in
person and in pictures -- and thus should be nice to look at.

The president is elected by the people because he or she is
wise and smart, honest and loved by people from all walks of
life.

Considering the above criteria, Megawati Soekarnoputri is the
best citizen for the presidential post. Let us make a concerted
effort to end all the catastrophes and solve all the problems
Indonesia faces, building a new Indonesia that is peaceful, just,
prosperous and a dignified member of the world community.
