President urges adaptability to global changes among military officers
“The president expects us to remain adaptive to change, considering the significant shifts in today’s geopolitical landscape. As TNI officers, we are also expected to be adaptive,” Major Amarullah, a SESKOAD student officer, said while recalling the president’s briefing in Bandung, West Java, on Monday.
According to a statement from the Presidential Communications Office received here, Amarullah said President Prabowo highlighted the importance of readiness among TNI officers in responding to developments in the global strategic environment.
The president stressed that adaptability should serve as the primary asset for officers in addressing national defense challenges amid evolving geopolitical conditions, he added.
“The president also instructed that the TNI must continue updating its doctrines to ensure they remain relevant to current developments,” Amarullah stated.
He noted that the president’s briefing provided valuable lessons and insights for SESKOAD student officers in preparing themselves to face future national defense challenges and dynamics.
On the same occasion, Amarullah expressed hope that President Prabowo would remain in good health as he works to realize his vision for Indonesia.
“As student officers and members of the TNI, we pray that the president will always be granted good health and strength, because we believe he has noble aspirations for the Indonesian nation,” he remarked.
He also reiterated the commitment of TNI officers to provide “full support” for President Prabowo’s vision, as conveyed during Monday’s briefing, and to work diligently in addressing the challenges highlighted by the president.
