President University Launches World Campus, Offering Online Undergraduate Programmes
Working, building a business, managing a family, or handling various other responsibilities often forces individuals to reconsider their plans for further education. However, education is a long-term investment that can open opportunities for continuous growth, both in one’s career and personal life.
“President University World Campus serves as an alternative for those wishing to pursue higher education with greater flexibility. Through the distance learning (PJJ) system, students can attend online lectures so that education can proceed alongside work, activities, and other responsibilities,” said the Vice Rector for Academic, Research, and Innovation at President University, Dr Adhi Setyo Santoso.
In its initial phase, President University World Campus is opening the Management in Information Systems study programme. This programme is an option for prospective students who wish to pursue higher education through an online and distance learning system, without having to follow a face-to-face lecture pattern that requires campus attendance at specific times and locations.
“In the future, the range of study programmes at World Campus will continue to be developed to provide more options for prospective students with diverse needs and interests,” said Adhi.
Through President University World Campus, the university is introducing a new approach to the higher education experience. Online learning allows students to study from various locations, meaning education no longer necessitates being in one place at one time. Students can learn from wherever they are while remaining part of the President University academic environment.
With the online or distance learning system, President University World Campus provides higher education that is more flexible and relevant to the needs of modern learners. For prospective students looking to pursue an online undergraduate degree, President University World Campus offers the opportunity to become part of President University without location acting as a barrier.

In WURI 2026, President University also entered the global top 5 in four categories: Culture/Values, Infrastructure/Technology, AI-Based Teaching and Learning Transformation, and Inclusive Social Innovation for the Underserved.
Despite using a distance learning system, President University World Campus provides the same lecture experience as President University’s regular classes. Students take the same courses, with the same learning materials and instruction from President University lecturers, with only the delivery method being conducted online.
The difference lies in how students attend classes. While regular students attend in person in a classroom, World Campus students attend lectures via the distance learning system. “Through the Management Information Systems distance learning programme, we are bringing President University’s world-class, international-environment, and industry-integrated education model to wherever the students are. Lectures are conducted entirely in English and bring together professionals from various countries, allowing students to exchange international professional experiences and build global networks during their studies,” Adhi added.
As part of President University, World Campus maintains an internationally oriented learning character. Lectures conducted entirely in English familiarise students with using English in various academic activities, from attending lectures and discussing with lecturers to delivering presentations and completing projects.
