Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will be the key speaker at a business forum attended by 300 leading Chinese and Indonesia businessmen in Shanghai, China next week.

According to a press statement from the office of the president`s special assistant for international affairs here on Saturday, the President would address the forum during his working visit to China on October 25-26, 2010.

In Shanghai, the President would also visit the Shanghai World Expo 2010.

The head of state would also witness the signing of memorandums of understanding (MoUs) on cooperation with China in the fields of mining, energy, agriculture and creative economy.

At the Shanghai expo he would visit the Indonesian Pavilion which was showing Indonesia`s natural resources and cultural heritages.

Since the opening of the Shanghai World Expo on May 1, 2010, the Indonesian Pavilion had drawn 7.5 million visitors, or about 10 percent of the total number of the Chinese expo`s visitors.

During the visit to China, President Yudhoyono would be accompanied by Mrs Ani Yudhoyono.

The visit to China would be made by the head of state before attending the 17th ASEAN summit in Hanoi, Vietnam, on October 27-30, 2010.

At the ASEAN summit Indonesia will take over the ASEAN chairmanship from Vietnam in accordance with the rotating system applicable to the positions.

The President would return to Jakarta on October 31, 2010. (*)
