President Prabowo Subianto attended a mass mortgage agreement ceremony for 62,000 subsidised homes held simultaneously across various regions of Indonesia. At the event, which took place in Batang, Central Java, the President personally inspected subsidised homes that have already been occupied.

As monitored by Media Indonesia, on Thursday (30/7), after inaugurating the revitalisation of Tawang Station in Semarang, President Prabowo Subianto continued his agenda in Batang Regency by trying out the Nusantara Explorer train, the newest train developed by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI).

Upon arriving at the venue for the mass mortgage ceremony for 62,000 subsidised homes at Puri Delta City Side in Wonotunggal District, Batang Regency, Prabowo immediately checked the condition of several occupied subsidised homes belonging to Rosmini (a grocery trader) and Rahma Yuliani (a security guard).

Accompanied by the Minister of Housing and Residential Areas, Maruarar Sirait, President Prabowo then travelled by buggy car to the location of the mass mortgage ceremony at Puri Delta City Side in Wonotunggal District, Batang Regency.

After settling in at the venue, the President began the proceedings by handing over keys to beneficiaries of the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) mortgage programme to a number of community representatives: Dwi Suryanto (a workshop business owner), Jofam Firdaus (an online motorcycle taxi driver), Nilam Cahya Ayuku Sumawati (a labourer) and Nur Suciana (a kindergarten teacher).

The key handover reflects the government’s commitment to providing access to decent housing for the public. Earlier, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi explained that the mass ceremony for 62,000 subsidised homes is part of the three million homes programme, which aims to expand access to habitable home ownership for low-income communities (MBR).

“The mass ceremony was held in hybrid form involving 62,000 debtors, comprising 200 debtors attending in person in Batam and 61,800 debtors participating online from 36 provinces,” said Prasetyo Hadi.

He added that the mass ceremony in Batang this afternoon was the third in a series of FLPP mortgage mass ceremonies, following previous events held in Cileungsi on 29 September 2025 and in Serang on 20 December 2025.

“The mass ceremony marks that the homes built are ready to be owned and occupied by the public,” he added.

According to Prasetyo Hadi, regarding the realisation of housing credit disbursement under the housing financing liquidity facility (FLPP) scheme, as of July 2026 the number of recipients has reached 107,410 people from the MBR category, with an occupancy rate of 93.35 per cent.
