Speaking during the presentation of the Macroeconomic Framework and Fiscal Policy Points (KEM-PPKF) at the 19th Plenary Meeting of the House of Representatives (DPR) here on Wednesday, Prabowo noted some officials are occasionally involved in corruption.

“Our people all have gadgets now. If there is improper behavior done by the officials, I ask the public to take a video, record it directly. Do not fight back, just video it and report it directly to me,” Prabowo stated in the parliament complex.

On the occasion, he also ordered all ministers and heads of government agencies in the Kabinet Merah Putih (Red and White Cabinet) to clean up their respective institutions from corruption that hinder Indonesia’s economic progress.

“Do not hesitate. Take action against those who conduct violations. Once again, all government institutions must work well. We must eliminate corruption, abuse of power, and practices that obstruct our economic progress,” he emphasized.

While believing that the majority of state civil apparatuses (ASN) have worked well and do not engage in corruption, he highlighted that a small number still exhibit corrupt behavior.

Regarding oversight efforts, Prabowo urged central government officials, as well as regional governments at the district, city, and provincial levels, to conduct internal clean-ups in their respective organizations.

Earlier, President Prabowo Subianto presented the KEM-PPKF for the 2027 State Budget Draft (RAPBN) to the DPR during the plenary session.

Prabowo became the first Indonesian president to personally present the RAPBN introduction, which includes the macroeconomic framework and fiscal policy points, before members of the parliament.
