President Prabowo asks Japanese entrepreneurs to report if there are complaints about investing in Indonesia

Tokyo, Japan - President Prabowo Subianto emphasized his commitment to creating an open, responsive, and upholding the rule of law investment climate for investors, including from Japan.

This was conveyed by President Prabowo Subianto in a meeting with Japanese entrepreneurs at the Indonesia-Japan Business Forum in Tokyo, Japan, Monday, March 30.

President Prabowo explicitly invited Japanese entrepreneurs to directly report to him on various obstacles faced during investment in Indonesia. President Prabowo emphasized that he adopted a proactive leadership approach and directly intervened in solving problems on the ground.

He even called the role of the modern president as the CEO of the country who must be able to respond to problems quickly and accurately. To strengthen this response, the government has formed a special task force tasked with removing investment barriers or de-bottlenecking task force.

This task force is functional to handle various problems, such as administrative delays to practices that harm investors.

Furthermore, President Prabowo emphasized that the Indonesian government is committed to deregulating and simplifying various rules that are considered to hinder investment.
