President Prabowo Travels to France for Eid al-Adha Prayers

President Prabowo Subianto has embarked on another overseas trip. The Head of State is reported to have departed for France on Monday (24 May) evening. This was disclosed by Deputy State Secretary Juri Ardiantoro at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday (26 May) when asked about the location of Prabowo’s Eid al-Adha prayers on Wednesday (27 May). “The President departed for France last night, so he will adjust accordingly as he remains there on Wednesday,” Juri told reporters at the Presidential Palace. He added that Prabowo is likely to perform Eid prayers in France, adapting to the local timing and circumstances. “He will adapt to the situation there. We will have to wait and see,” Juri explained. He declined to provide further details on Prabowo’s agenda in France, directing inquiries about the matter to Foreign Minister Sugiono.
