President Prabowo to Lead 80th Bhayangkara Day Ceremony at Brimob Training Grounds
President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to lead the 80th Bhayangkara Day ceremony on Wednesday, 1 July 2026. Unlike previous years, the peak commemoration will take place at the Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Training Facility in Cikeas, Bogor, West Java.
Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir, stated that President Prabowo will act as the inspecting officer for the anniversary of the Bhayangkara Corps. ‘The 80th Bhayangkara Day ceremony will be led by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr Prabowo Subianto, as the inspecting officer, and will be attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka,’ Isir told journalists in Jakarta on Tuesday, 30 June 2026.
In addition to the President and Vice President, the ceremony will be attended by officials from various ministries and institutions, as well as other stakeholders. Their presence forms part of the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration, which this year carries the theme ‘80 Years of Police Service to the Community’.
According to Isir, this theme has served as the foundation for all activities organised by the National Police from May to June 2026. Prior to the peak event, the police held a series of community-engagement activities, including social service initiatives, health services, performance achievement events, community visits, interfaith prayers, various competitions, a sports week, and a traditional Indonesian wayang puppet performance.
The peak ceremony will feature a parade, the conferment of honours, a march-past by participants, and an exhibition of domestically produced primary and special equipment.
