President Prabowo to Inaugurate West Lampung Regional Hospital Tomorrow

President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to inaugurate a regional public hospital (RSUD) in Krui, West Lampung, on Wednesday, 10 June 2026. Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated that President Prabowo had invited him to attend the inauguration. “Tomorrow I am being taken to Krui, West Lampung. Do you want to come along? To inaugurate a hospital,” Budi told journalists at the Presidential Palace complex in Central Jakarta on Tuesday.

During a meeting with Prabowo, Budi also reported on the progress of several programmes, including the Free Health Screening (CKG) initiative and tuberculosis control efforts. “So I was asked to provide an update, firstly on the free health screening, and secondly on tuberculosis,” he said. Budi further briefed the president directly on hospital construction progress, noting that of 66 planned facilities, 20 had been completed and 12 are already operational. “So he said, ‘right, I want to see it’. So perhaps the plan is to visit,” Budi explained.

It was previously reported that President Prabowo had summoned several ministers to the Presidential Palace complex in Central Jakarta on Tuesday, 9 June 2026. One of the ministers in attendance was Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, who arrived at around 5 p.m. Western Indonesia Time wearing a white shirt and proceeded directly inside without commenting further to the media.
