President Prabowo to Inaugurate 1,204 Civil Service Cadets
As part of the inauguration ceremony, the President will present awards to the ten best graduating students as a form of appreciation for the academic achievements and accomplishments of the graduates during their studies at IPDN.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to lead the inauguration of 1,204 graduates of the Institute of Domestic Governance (IPDN), class XXXIII of 2026, holding a Bachelor of Applied Government Science degree, at the Parade Ground of the IPDN Jatinangor campus in Sumedang Regency, West Java, on Wednesday.
Minister of State Secretariat Prasetyo Hadi said that 728 sons and 476 daughters of the junior civil servants being inaugurated will be assigned to central and regional governments across Indonesia, including the underdeveloped, frontier and outermost (3T) regions, in accordance with civil service staffing requirements.
“As part of the inauguration ceremony, the President will present awards to the ten best graduating students as a form of appreciation for the academic achievements and accomplishments of the graduates during their studies at IPDN,” Prasetyo told reporters in Jakarta on Wednesday.
These junior civil servants, who come from regions across the country, are expected to serve as a bond for national unity, maintain social harmony, and strengthen the sense of nationhood amid the diversity of ethnicities, religions, cultures and local customs of the communities they serve.
Furthermore, he said the government is committed to strengthening human resources, bureaucratic reform and the development of a professional state apparatus.
In addition, the government also emphasises integrity and a public service orientation as important elements in realising effective governance, strengthening synergy between central and regional governments, and ensuring the sustainability of leadership regeneration within the government apparatus to support the achievement of the vision of an Advanced Indonesia and Golden Indonesia 2045.
“It is hoped that the graduates can carry out their mandate with full responsibility, integrity and high dedication for the progress of the nation and state, and become an important part of the transformation of governance that is effective, efficient, transparent and oriented towards serving the community,” said Prasetyo.
