President Prabowo Subianto presented the 2027 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget Plan (RAPBN) in Jakarta on Friday (14/8/2026). In the RAPBN 2027, Indonesia’s economic growth is targeted to reach 6%.

He also set targets for reducing poverty and open unemployment in Indonesia. “With stronger growth and an effective state budget, poverty in 2027 is targeted to fall to a range of 6.0 - 6.5%, from the 2026 state budget target of 6.5%-7.5%,” he said at the MPR/DPR Building.

Furthermore, the human capital index is projected to rise from 0.57 in 2026 to 0.575 in 2027. Finally, the Gini ratio is targeted to decrease from 0.377-0.380 in 2026 to 0.362-0.367 in 2027. “We are targeting the Gini ratio to improve to 0.362 to 0.367 from this year’s target of 0.377-0.380,” he stated.
