President Prabowo summons Purbaya and the Industry Minister

Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto has again summoned several ministers from the Red-White Cabinet in the economy and other state officials, one of them discussing the formation of PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI) as a Special Export State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN Khusus Ekspor). Minister of Investment and Hilirisasi, who is also the CEO of Danantara Indonesia, Rosan Roeslani, said he received an invitation for lunch with President Prabowo and to report on the Export Agency.

‘This is to report the mechanism of the Export Agency,’ Rosan said at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, on Thursday.

Rosan said he could not provide more detailed information about the report to be delivered to President Prabowo.

In the same event, the Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said his presence at the Presidential Palace was to fulfil the invitation to lunch. As preparation, Agus has also prepared several reports to be presented to President Prabowo.

‘We must be ready, as ministers we must be prepared. If necessary, we must report,’ Agus said.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said he would bring a report to be delivered to President Prabowo, including concerns about manipulation of values in export-import trade documents.

‘Think ahead, always be prepared; if asked, you must not be unable. There is a study that I mentioned yesterday,’ he said.

Several ministers who were also present to respond to President Prabowo’s summons included Trade Minister Budi Santoso and Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo.
