President Prabowo Summons Police Chief to Hambalang to Discuss Security and Strategic Programmes

Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto summoned the Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri) Listyo Sigit Prabowo to his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Friday, 24 April 2026. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the meeting, which lasted approximately one hour, discussed several strategic issues related to national security and the general national situation across various sectors. “The Kapolri also reported on the developments of several strategic police programmes, ranging from strengthening digital transformation of public services, improving the professionalism of members from the recruitment process to their service, as well as efforts to maintain security and public order sustainably by involving all elements of society,” said Cabinet Secretary Teddy in his statement on Friday, 24 April 2026.
