President Prabowo Subianto has once again been invited by Russian President Vladimir Putin to attend exhibitions in Russia in May and July 2026. This was revealed by Foreign Minister Sugiono during a press briefing in Moscow on Tuesday (14/4/2026).
“President Putin also extended an invitation to President Prabowo to attend the event in Kazan scheduled for May, as well as the major industrial exhibition to be held in July, as part of efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries, which are hoped to become increasingly intensive and bring benefits to both parties,” said Sugiono, quoting the Presidential Secretariat’s broadcast.
Following the meeting on Monday (14/4/2026), the two heads of state agreed to strengthen cooperation. Sugiono stated that several future plans also revolve around bolstering economic relations between the two countries and people-to-people ties, both between Russia and Indonesia.
From the search results, an event in Kazan next May is the Russia & Islamic World Cooperation Expo, to be held from 13-15 May 2026 at Kazan Expo. This event is Russia’s largest investment and infrastructure exhibition in collaboration with the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The exhibition serves as a platform for promoting and developing business projects, as well as a forum for constructive dialogue among participants.
Meanwhile, according to the INNOPROM 2026 website, it will be held in Russia from 6-9 July at Yekaterinburg Expo. This is one of Russia’s industrial exhibitions, in cooperation with many countries in Southeast Asia.
