President Prabowo Receives Credentials from Eight Ambassadors at Merdeka Palace
President Prabowo Subianto received credentials from eight ambassadors of friendly nations at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Monday afternoon at 14:00 WIB, followed by a meeting in the Veranda Room.
The eight ambassadors who presented their credentials to President Prabowo today were: the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (LBBP) of Sri Lanka to Indonesia, Sumadhurika Sashikala Premawardhane; the Ambassador LBBP of the Philippines to Indonesia, Christopher Baltazar Montero; the Ambassador LBBP of South Korea to Indonesia, Yoon Soongu; and the Ambassador LBBP of the Czech Republic to Indonesia, Petr Kopřiva.
Also present were the Ambassador LBBP of Palestine to Indonesia, Abdalfatah Ahmed Khalil Alsattari; the Ambassador LBBP of Greece to Indonesia, Dimitrios Michalopoulos; the Ambassador LBBP of Lebanon to Indonesia, Salam Al Achkar; and the Ambassador LBBP of Saint Lucia to Indonesia, Menissa Rambally.
“Some ambassadors provided their perspectives, and the President once again conveyed his commitment that Indonesia’s foreign policy, as decided by our founding fathers, is free and active, and non-aligned,” said Prasetyo Hadi, describing the contents of the meeting between President Prabowo and the eight ambassadors in the Veranda Room.
Following the meeting in the Veranda Room, the eight ambassadors bid farewell to President Prabowo on the steps of the Merdeka Palace, accompanied by the playing of the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya.
During the proceedings, President Prabowo was accompanied by the Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Deputy Foreign Minister Muhammad Anis Matta, Deputy Foreign Minister Arrmanatha Christiawan Nasir, and Deputy Foreign Minister Arif Havas Oegroseno.
