President Prabowo Performs Eid Prayer at Darussalam Mosque in Aceh Tamiang

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia’s eighth President Prabowo Subianto performed Eid al-Fitr prayers for 1447 Hijriah with residents at the Darussalam Mosque in Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh, on Saturday. Monitored via the live broadcast from the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta on Saturday, President Prabowo arrived at the mosque around 07:20 WIB wearing a white koko shirt, black trousers, and a black peci. Prabowo entered the mosque room accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. Prabowo then sat in the front row, next to Interior Minister Tito Karnavian on his right and Teddy on his left. The Eid prayer took place at 07:30 WIB, led by Tengku Junaidi, the imam of the Darussalam Mosque in Aceh Tamiang. The Eid al-Fitr 1447 H prayer service at the Darussalam Mosque was attended by around 1,300 congregants consisting of residents from the Temporary Housing (Huntara) in Aceh Tamiang and the surrounding community.
