President Prabowo Subianto has officially appointed five new senior leadership officials within the Attorney General’s Office. This strategic move is enshrined in Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 87/TPA of 2026. Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi confirmed that the appointments were a follow-up to a proposal from the Attorney General, which had undergone a screening process by the Final Assessment Team (TPA). “The President has signed the Keppres in accordance with the results of the Final Assessment Team, as referred to in the proposal letter from the Attorney General,” Prasetyo stated at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday (22/7).

This major reshuffle within the Adhyaksa Corps follows the resignation of former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah in the early hours of Saturday (11/7). On the same day, Febrie was named a suspect in a case of alleged corruption and money laundering (TPPU). In the new structure, Kuntadi, who previously led the Asset Recovery Agency, has been entrusted with the strategic position of Jampidsus. Meanwhile, the position of Deputy Attorney General is now held by Asep Nana Mulyana.

Prasetyo Hadi added that the excerpt of the Keppres would be sent immediately to the Attorney General’s Office for prompt administrative follow-up, including the official inauguration process by the Attorney General. The leadership rotation also involves Leonard Ebenezer Simanjuntak, who fills the position vacated by Asep Nana Mulyana. Harli Siregar, previously an Inspector at the Junior Attorney General for Supervision, now leads the Education and Training Agency. The position left by Kuntadi at the Asset Recovery Agency is now filled by Patris Yusrian Jaya, who previously served as Head of the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office.
