President Prabowo mobbed for photos on arrival in Bandung
Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto was greeted with extraordinary enthusiasm by residents and students in Bandung, West Java, on Monday, many of whom requested photos with him. According to a statement from the Government Communication Bureau quoted in Jakarta on Monday, residents and children had lined up neatly along the welcoming area since early morning awaiting President Prabowo’s arrival. Upon arrival in Bandung, President Prabowo was warmly greeted by residents cheering enthusiastically. Children waved small Indonesian flags as the atmosphere turned festive. President Prabowo then appeared on the roof of the RI 1 Maung Putih vehicle, waving to the crowd. Throughout the journey, residents and children remained enthusiastic, welcoming the presidential motorcade as it passed. President Prabowo’s visit to Bandung this morning and afternoon was to brief 1,000 trainees from the Armed Forces Staff and Command School (Sesko TNI) and Senior Leadership School (Sespimti) of the National Police, including Army, Air Force, and Navy Staff and Command School officers, as well as the National Police’s Intermediate Leadership School (Sespimmen). Additionally, President Prabowo officially opened the library and museum at the Army Staff and Command School.
