“Ramadan Mubarak, my dear brother,” Abdullah told Prabowo as they met during the Muslim holy month, offering a traditional greeting that conveys hopes for a blessed and prosperous Ramadan.

The king said he looked forward to reciprocating Prabowo’s visit with a return trip to Jakarta, reaffirming the warm relations between the two leaders and their countries.

Prabowo returned the greeting, extending Ramadan wishes to the Jordanian people and thanking Abdullah for the warm welcome and state honors accorded to him in Amman.

“On behalf of Indonesia and myself, I wish Ramadan Mubarak to the people of Jordan and express my gratitude for the great honor bestowed upon me,” Prabowo said.

The Indonesian leader said Jordan had long felt like a second home to him, reflecting his longstanding ties with the kingdom.

Prabowo’s Feb. 24–25 trip marked his second state visit to Amman, following an earlier visit on April 14–15, 2025.

Abdullah paid a reciprocal visit to Jakarta on Nov. 14–15, 2025, further signaling deepening bilateral engagement.

During Wednesday’s visit, Prabowo was welcomed with a state ceremony at Basman Palace before holding a one-on-one meeting with the king.

Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah joined the closed-door talks, which were followed by a broader Indonesia–Jordan bilateral meeting attended by ministers from both sides.

Prabowo was accompanied by Foreign Minister Sugiono, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.

Abdullah was joined by Crown Prince Hussein, Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and senior officials, including military leaders.

After the talks, the king personally drove Prabowo to Marka Air Base and escorted him to the foot of the aircraft before departure.

Prabowo then boarded a Garuda Indonesia plane bound for Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, continuing his regional tour.
